The minimum period the deposit would be kept is

Premature
Payment
|
Premature payment will attract a penalty of
0.50% for JPY Deposits and 1.00 % for other deposits. Subject to review.

Roll
over
|
The deposits will be rolled over at the end of
maturity period for the same amount and for the same period unless
otherwise instructed

Loans
|
Overdrafts may be allowed against the fixed
deposits subject to the Bank’s usual guidelines etc

Withholding
tax
|
As per local regulations, withholding tax is
deductible on the interest before payment at the applicable rates, unless
exempted according to the law.

Insurance
|
Deposit insurance scheme does not cover the
deposits made with our branch

Forex Risk
|
For deposits in currencies
other than JPY, there is a potential risk of loss arising out of
fluctuations in currency values
